Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige, and 50 cent have been awarded their first time Emmy for being part of the Super Bowl Half-Time Show, not only it is their first ever, the show itself was the first to receive the coveted Tv trophy.

The first ever half-time show Emmy winner was a surprise for everyone, being in Los Angeles, the LA music scene had to represent their hometown, and what better way than to bring a brutal display of talent from all the performers to the most watched tv event in the US.

Dr. Dre is a music and business mogul and as far as many people are concerned, he has already done his part in music history, he made ‘The Chronic’ which is arguably the most influential album of all hip hop, he was part of the first gangster-rap group ever with NWA and he continued to be a legend, but he did not need to do the show, however, he was convinced by NAS and Jay-Z
